A musical performance paying tribute to the 16th-century Sicilian poet Antonio Veneziano, through which themes of love and friendship will be explored.

Centuries later, his love octaves dedicated to his beloved Celia are brought back to the public through live musical compositions, interspersed with excerpts from the correspondence between Veneziano and Miguel de Cervantes, whose friendship began during their years of imprisonment in Algiers, where they shared a cell.

Free admission while seats last.

The series is organized by the association Circo dell’Avvenire, under the artistic direction of Tiziana Giordano, and is presented with the patronage of the Municipality of Cefalù.
