Once again this year, the Municipality of Cefalù confirms its commitment to European Waste Reduction Week, now in its 17th edition and scheduled from Saturday 22 to Sunday 30 November 2025.
The event will start on Saturday 22nd November at 4 pm in the Sala Consiliare with a workshop on the future of sustainable tourism in Cefalù. The meeting will focus on opportunities linked to circular economy and blue economy, which are key topics for developing a modern, responsible and competitive tourism model.
The workshop is the first event in a series of meetings that will be scheduled throughout 2026 as part of the European RECIRCLE MED project, a territorial cooperation initiative between European cities, entirely financed by European Union structural funds, and of which the Municipality of Cefalù is an active partner.
The municipal administration invites all tourism and sea operators, together with the citizens, to take part in this opportunity for discussion. The aim is to share ideas, identify new potential and define common strategies to promote tourism that combines sustainability, innovation and territorial identity.
